Que la fête commence!

It all began with a simple question, “aushak or mantu?” inside a club in Vegas. Both agreed there was only one correct answer (IYKYK), marking the first of many shared perspectives between them. Madina and Ali crossed paths again a few days later at a New Year’s Eve party, where they exchanged numbers and promised to stay in touch. Little did they know, that would be their last encounter for a couple of years. Fast forward to July 9, 2020 — Madina received an unexpected message from Ali asking for advice on which areas of San Diego he should consider moving to. Two months later, they found themselves living across the street from each other. Madina jokingly refers to this as Ali’s “Joe” moment (again, IYKYK). And from there, the rest was history…
