Most of the events will be hosted at the Quinta da Comporta. Everything in Comporta is just a short distance away, so you’ll have plenty of time to soak in the local charm. Sunday's beach day is at the Sublime Comporta Beach Club.
If you’re flying in, you’ll arrive at Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS). It’s about a 75-minute drive to Comporta. From the airport, you can easily take a shuttle, hop in an Uber, or rent a car to get to your hotel.
You won’t need a car to get around for the weekend. We’ll be providing transportation for everything! But, if you plan to stick around for a little vacation and want to explore more of the area, renting a car is a good idea since getting an Uber can be tricky. We recommend checking out Sixt, Europcar, or Discover Cars.

Once you pick a room, email the hotel at: reservations@quintadacomporta.com, mention you are booking for the October 10th weekend for Alie and Nick's wedding, and tell them your top two choices for room location and price. They will communicate with you directly to collect payments and help you with anything you might need. If you need help or have questions, just let us know!

Comporta is stunning, and while the views are amazing, the terrain can be a little uneven, so make sure you wear something comfortable. For ladies, block heels, wedges, or stylish flats are great options, and for gents, loafers or sneakers will do the trick!
Sunday around lunchtime, we are hosting an after-wedding beach party at another spot we love called SUBLIME. Great music, great food, and a lot of fun.
The weather in Comporta at the beginning of October is absolutely perfect! Expect sunny, warm days with temperatures between 77–81ºF, which is ideal for outdoor fun. In the evenings, it can cool down a bit to around 59–61ºF, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or a scarf to keep cozy when the sun sets.
As much as we love kids, the venue isn’t really set up for little ones, so we’ve made the decision to keep the events adults-only, except for immediate family. If you absolutely need to bring your kids, please let us know, and we’ll help make arrangements, including sharing details on babysitting services available nearby.
