Where and When
Answer
All events will be held at 1986 Upper Whitewater Rd in Sapphire, NC on Saturday, September 20th. The ceremony will start at 4pm, with refreshments available beforehand. A cocktail hour will bridge the gap until dinner starting at 6, followed by drinks and dancing for as long as you like! All events will be held outdoors on family property! This property has been in Isaac's family for generations and holds some of our favorite memories. This is an incredibly important place for us and we can't wait to make new memories with all of you!

Transportation
Answer
Many of you will have traveled a long way to join us, and we want it to be as easy as possible for you to enjoy yourselves without having to worry about finding parking or getting a ride back to your hotel/Airbnb. Because of the limited parking on the property we have rented a shuttle to take people to and from the venue. Getting to the venue before the ceremony: We will have multiple pickup locations and times staggered before the ceremony. We will ask that you drive/carpool to one of these pickup spots and then take the shuttle to the venue. We will determine specific locations soon once we figure out where everybody is staying. Getting home after: The driver will stay on site to take people back to their cars or their hotel/Airbnb whenever they are ready to head out. We may ask that you wait a few minutes if there are several people leaving at once. You can either be taken back to your car at the pickup location, or directly back to your rental. Making sure everyone gets home safe is our priority so please utilize the shuttle service if you feel that you need it.

Dress Code

The dress code for the wedding is: garden party. Please don't sweat the dress code too much! The most important thing is that all our guest are comfortable! It is important to note that all events will be taking place outside so make sure whatever you decide to wear is suited to this. If you are looking for a little more guidance: "Garden Party is a dress code that combines elements of formal attire with a relaxed, outdoor vibe. It is a blend of elegance and comfort. Think light, airy fabrics like linen or cotton. These are perfect for an outdoor setting. Color-wise, think soft, pastel shades or vibrant floral prints."

Friday Night
Answer
Instead of a traditional rehearsal dinner we thought it would be fun to invite everyone to a more relaxed welcome dinner Friday night. The dinner will be held at Elevation 3042 in Burlingame Country Club starting at 6pm on Friday. There will be a buffet style dinner with outdoor seating, a bar and some games. Dinner will be from 6pm to about 8 or 9, but people are welcome to hang out after at the bar if they choose. To get to the restaurant, go to Burlingame Country Club at 746 Club Dr, Sapphire, NC (this works best on google maps) and park in the main parking lot by the pool and clubhouse. The restaurant is behind the pool by the first tee.

Food and Drinks

Food: Dinner at the reception will be wood fired pizza, courtesy of King of Fire food truck! There will be several pizzas to choose from, including vegetarian and gluten free. There will also be plenty of appetizers, sides, a variety of desserts, and of course, a cake. We hope to have options for everybody! Drinks: The drinks will be self serve, with an assortment of beer, seltzer and wine along with a limited bar for basic mixed drinks, but we encourage everyone to try some of our pre batched signature cocktails!

Weather
Answer
All wedding events will take place outdoors, so the weather is something to take into consideration. The weather in Sapphire during September is generally very pleasant. Its mountain location keeps it cooler than surrounding areas, but still expect it be warm during the day and cool in the evening. during this time of years temperature highs are usually around 81° and lows dip down to 57°. There is always the chance of rain. We will have a large tent that is able to accommodate all guest that can be used to help combat both the sun and the rain. We hope the weather will be beautiful, but we encourage everyone to prepare to be flexible. As is the case in much of the country during this time of year short but strong afternoon storms are common in this area and often blow over. Also the entire event will take place in the yard, so be prepared to dance in the grass!
