Despite attending the same high school, where they were friends with all of each other's friends, Ama and Alicka only spoke a handful of times. In fact, neither knew where the other was attending college. On good ol' Razorback Transit, Ama thought they recognized Alicka and sent a text to do reconnaissance. Alicka looked at her phone and put it down, confirming Ama's suspicions. After Alicka was confronted about how rude it is to ignore someone's text (which she still does), she invited Ama to the University of Arkansas' ballroom dance club, where their friendship blossomed. As roommates during the COVID-19 pandemic, they had the idea to go out on nightly walks (like, at 3 AM) to get fresh air while maintaining social distancing recommendations. On one of these walks through a park, surrounded by greenery and fireflies, the perfect moment arose for Ama and Alicka to share the feelings they had developed for one another. From that moment on, they've been inseparable.
