We have lived close to each other growing up. Alicia went to Waterford and Trae went to Fort Frye. We have heard each others names through out the years but just havent crossed our paths yet. It is crazy to think how many times we could have crossed paths. We know alot of the same people. We both went through SEARCH the same year. We have played basketball on the same courts. We even watched each other play ball but never knew that was the person we were going to marry out there on the field. Febrary of 2023 - We actually met and talked to each other for the first time. At that time, Alicia was finishing up her Senior year at Capital University and Trae was working at Marietta Memorial. Trae meets Taylor Strahler while working at the hospital and Alicia has been friends with Emma since Preschool. Emma and Taylor occassionaly have get togethers at their house and that is where we first introduced ourselves. Trae tried talking to Alicia, but Alicia is oblivious to the world and did not think Trae was flirting or anything. She just thought Trae was being a nice guy. September 2023 - It is Emma's Birthday and Taylor invites everyone over again. We play cornhole and it is Emma and Alicia against Jerry and Trae. On one end of the cornhole boards it was Jerry and Emma being competitive and calling each other names. On the other end it was Alicia and Trae laughing at anything and everything. After that night, we both felt a "spark" and started talking to each other more. October 2024 - After a year of dating full of memories, we realize why god has crossed our paths. We realize that we are different in so many ways but we compliment each other. October 21, 2024, we went out for Alicia's birthday. We went out for breakfast to Bob Evans. We made a trip to the mall and little did she know Trae was picking up the ring to propose later that night while she was shopping. At dinner, Trae was doing his final research on which knee to kneel on. He also was nervously texting Jacob when the correct time would be to propose. After getting back home from dinner, Alicia turns around from taking her shoes off and Trae is down on one knee.
