FAQs

Question

What is an elopement style wedding?

Answer

An elopement wedding is a marriage ceremony that's typically smaller and more intimate, focusing on the couple and their close friends or family. It's a less formal and more personalized approach to saying "I do," often taking place in a unique or scenic location. That being said, our guest count is not flexible, so please do not bring any other guests we did not approve of unless cleared by Tim or I first.

Question

What to expect day of?

Answer

Our location is in the Hoh National Rainforest on the Hall of Mosses trailhead, and is at least an hour from all hotels/motels/resorts ect, so please plan appropriately to make it on time. It should be a relatively short ceremony, and we will be meeting after at a cabin for a small hang-out where we will provide a small taco bar (vegan/ vegetarian option will be provided), soda/water and a champagne toast.

Question

Things to note about the Hoh Forest

Answer

Our ceremony location will be held on the most accessible trail but, there will be a small and mild hike to the exact spot we are meeting. That being said, please dress appropriately with comfortable shoes and the possibility of rain. There is a park fee of $30 per vehicle. You can visit this website for me info about park fees: https://www.nps.gov/olym/planyourvisit/fees.htm

Question

Where to stay?

Answer

We have linked a couple of places that stand out as nice and scenic for the area, but the closest town is Fork, WA and there are hotels/motels/airbnbs stay at. Again, keep in mind, this is an hour away from our Hoh Forest location.

Question
