You are more than welcome to drive around if you want. We always recommend renting a golf cart if you’re staying on the island since it will be easier parking places. *we are working on getting a discount rate for golf carts*
We are still trying to work with a trolley system but it is peak season so it is hard to get. As of right now, we have 20 spaces AND public parking next to the venue. We would recommend car pooling together to save as many spaces, or take a golf cart with multiple people. *Please note getting Ubers on the island will be difficult, so don’t plan on that*
Definitely drive around the island and see the beauty! Most public entrances are open to the beach now, and there’s a lot of shells! - Fugates, Kappys, and the boutique in Gasprilla Inn are fun little shops. - Hudson’s is a small grocery store to get some beer/snacks. - Pink Pony is yummy for ice cream, or açaí bowls! - Pura Vida & Inn bakery are a go-to for coffee and breakfast pastries. (The chocolate muffin at Pura Vida is my fav 😉) - South Beach bar & Grill are one of our favorite lunch/drink/dinner places - If you’re looking for somewhere fancy, try out Pink Elephant.
It has made alot of progress since, however things are still growing back from all of the salt water and there is still sand in places it shouldn’t be. But that’s okay! The island is still very beautiful and we’re so grateful to have everyone here for us!
