Denver has lots to do for everyone. Check out 16th Street Mall for food and shopping. Larimer Square is a historic spot with plenty to eat and do. The whole town is full of breweries, restaurants and more to do than can be listed.
The Rockies will be in town June 27th-July 3rd. Coors Field is a tremendous ballpark in the heart of LoDO in Denver. Worth the trip for even non sports fans.
Both of us lived in Arvada and love this downtown area. Checkout Denver Beer Co. for great craft beer. The Bluegrass Coffee and Bourbon Lounge has a huge selection of whiskey and makes the best garlic knots everyone who has tried them has tasted.
In town for a few extra days? Use one of them to visit one of the best and most beautiful national parks in the country. A few hours north of Denver. Reservations appear to still be required.
