We're getting married!

The timeline starts in August of 2011, when Parker and Alicia became Facebook friends. Although their spark didn't start quite yet, their invisible string did. They went through high school, college, and some years after knowing of each other but not knowing how big of an impact they would have on one another. In April of 2022, Parker moved back to Kansas City. Shortly after that, the two of them came up in conversation with mutual friends. After frequent name drops, a couple Golf Battle requests, and a few Facebook messages, Parker and Alicia hung out with a group of friends at Konrad's in Downtown Lee's Summit. On June 4th, Parker asked Alicia for her number, and she jokingly responded "911". They laughed, exchanged numbers and said their goodbyes. Their first date was at Third Street Social on June 10th. Since then, Alicia would like to say they were inseparable but Parker would disagree and say she bailed a couple of times until it became a forever thing. They spent the summer of 2022 with each other, making memories and having all the laughs. From meeting their families to ice cream dates to painting cabinets in Alicia's house. They had fun together no matter what. Parker and Alicia starting officially dating on August 28th. They knew from the beginning that they had found their soul mate and everything finally made sense. The two fell head over heels in love and said they loved each other that September. As their relationship progressed, there were more memories made. The two shared lots of dates and continued to grow together as one. Throughout their time together, they've shared many holidays, trips, events, and a whole lot of Chiefs games. Parker and Alicia have shared memories in Denver, St Louis, Chicago, Jacksonville, Branson, Charlotte, Dallas, and of course the Lake of the Ozarks. Parker started thinking of next steps and how to ask Alicia to be his wife. He was determined, despite what life threw his way, a broken ankle and some rainy weather wasn't going to stop him. On December 16, 2023, Parker asked the most important question, "Can we get ice cream after this?"....Kidding. He asked Alicia to marry him! And she said YES! Parker planned a surprise engagement party at Pearl Tavern with our close family and friends and it was a night of all nights! The two were surrounded by their favorite people, espresso martinis, chicken tenders, and love. Alicia couldn't have asked for a better night than what Parker had planned. Parker and Alicia shared their first holiday as an engaged couple, Christmas of 2023. After the new year is when the two starting making wedding plans. And so, here we are, counting down the days until we become Mr & Mrs Spaw! Parker and Alicia couldn't be more excited to take this next step in their journey and are so happy that you get to be apart of it.
