Nate & Alicia met as teens in 2006 when they both started working their first jobs at AMC Towson movie theatre. The two became friends over the course of their time spent there and started to get to know each other more the more they worked together. One day Alicia needed a ride home late after work, so she decided to ask Nate on Myspace. Yes, Myspace! It wasn't long before they started hanging out at the mall, talking on the phone & sharing their favorite songs with each other, even on days they didn’t have to work. Things got really real when Nate made Alicia a mixtape of her favorite songs. They both love music & this was the perfect thing to officially bring them together. They went on to continue to learn & grow together through high school & college. Now here they are ready to say I do.

They love going to concerts, but had canceled plans to go see a live show on what turned out to be proposal night! On the evening of Friday October 20, 2017 Alicia came home from the gym to find a note on the door telling her to call Nate before she came inside. So she did & when Nate opened the door he was all dressed up...mean while she was still in her gym clothes, desperately in need of a shower. True love man, true love. The lights were down low, candles were burning & their song “Lost Without You” by Robin Thicke was playing in the background. Nate took Alicia’s hand, let her know that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her & led her to the living room. “Will you marry me?” was romantically spelled out in rose petals on the carpet. “Yes, yes, yes!!!” Alicia said in shock, trying to take it all in.
