Brianna and Alicia met in middle school but didn't become besties until high school. Living just blocks away from each other these two became inseparable. When Alicia and Kyle got engaged there was no question that Brianna would be the Maid of Honour.

Trent and Kyle have been best friends since they were 12 years old playing pee-wee hockey together. Over the years between pucks shot, golf balls shanked, and beers drank, we're not sure which number is higher... but we are sure that it's a lot.

Kim and Alicia met in highschool and became close friends while working together at Lefty's in Qualicum Beach. Their bond grew over music festivals, beers, the outdoors and countless adventures. These two are always active and have even convinced each other to run a few half marathons.
Reed Orpen

Reed and Kyle became good friends when they played midget hockey together along with Trent. The three of them hung out at the Orpen house every other night in their highschool days. Reed has since moved to Victoria but they get together every opportunity they can.
Darcy Bennett

Darcy and Alicia met on the playground 21 years ago and have been friends ever since. They share a love of sports, dance moves, music, beers and much more. On our wedding night you will find her on the dance floor where her infamous moves will not disappoint.
Chris Newman

Chris and Kyle have been friends since elementary school where they played road hockey on recess breaks and after school at the local parks. Their common interests include watching hockey, drinking beer, and fishing.
Kaylyn Kwasnecha

Kaylyn and Alicia became friends in highschool through their shared love of snowboarding and the outdoors. Although Kaylyn currently lives in Tofino, their friendship remains the same: outdoor adventures, Kings of Leon, ciders and lots of laughs.
Brent Baltus

Kyle and Brent played Junior B hockey together (the self-proclaimed dynamic duo). Kyle claims that Brent is the only reason his Junior B career was so successful. They have remained close friends despite Brent having lived out of the country for the last 5 years.
Kelsey Yamasaki

Kelsey is Kyle's younger sister. Kelsey and Alicia have become good friends over the years - going shopping while the boys play golf, spending family time together, and doing arts and crafts with the other girls in the family.
Kyle Luterbach

Kyle is Alicia's older brother. Being less than two years apart they grew up doing most things together. They still even play on the same beer league baseball team. Same name, same love for hockey: Kyle and Kyle play beer league hockey together every Friday night. They've bonded through hockey and the occasional party.
