Alicia and Julian met at what used to be Cabo Lounge in White Plains, NY. Neither one wanted to go out that evening, but their friends were persistent and managed to convince them. After some drinks and dancing, Alicia noticed Julian standing around. She proceeded to walk up to him and ask him, “When are you going to ask me to dance?” Without hesitation Julian took Alicia’s hand, led her to the dance floor, and the two have been inseparable ever since.

While on vacation at Mexico's El Dorado Resorts, Julian told Alicia he wanted to have a late anniversary celebration since the past 4 years she had been away at school. They arrived at the restaurant and were shown a red carpet leading to their own private dinner on the beach. Alicia was completely oblivious to all the signs: private dinner, view of the sunset and ocean, and Julian wearing his best suit. After some conversation (and Moet ;P ), Alicia could see Julian's demeanor change from calm to nervous. Before she knew it, he was down on one knee with his heart pounding asking to spend the rest of their lives together.
