Our story started online. We were on the dating app Hinge. Joshua was actively swiping and matching. I was sitting around waiting for someone to like my profile. I was thinking about other dating profiles to try and other avenues to find dates as I had no success with Hinge. I silently quit being on Hinge until late morning on Sunday, Aug 10th, 2025 when Joshua’s profile picture popped up in my notifications. I decided to view his profile. I was immediately drawn to his passion for permaculture and plants and the rest was history! We had our first date Saturday, Aug 16th, 2025 at Irregardless Cafe and the State Farmers Market in Raleigh and the date ended extremely well with a kiss and new plants for my backyard. We got engaged in front of the Sun Voyager sculpture in Reykjavík, Iceland on December 21st, 2025.
