Things To Do

For those out of towners, we are excited for you to experience Philadelphia. Below are some recommendations from us.

Independence Hall

520 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

This is where you can see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and other historic sites from the 1700s! Exploring these sites are free, which is great too!

Philadelphia Museum of Art Steps

2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130

For those that love Rocky, these iconic steps lead up to the Philadelphia Art Museum! There is also a statue that you can take a picture with. The Art Museum Building itself is beautiful to look at and worth exploring, if you have time!

Suraya Restaurant

1528 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125

This is our favorite restaurant in the city! It is Lebanese cuisine that serves plates mezze style! The cocktails and desserts are also to die for. You could go for dinner or brunch! It is located in Fishtown, which is a very artsy borough in Philly.

Sonny's Famous Steaks

228 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

If you have never had a philly cheesesteak, this one is our favorite! People will recommend Jims or Tony Lukes but the lines are crazy! This one is located in Old City and you can walk down the street to get Franklin Fountain Ice Cream afterwards.

Rittenhouse Park

210 West Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA 19103

This is a cute park to enjoy a morning coffee and pastry in! Between 15th and 18th on Walnut, you will also come across luxury and non-luxury stores to shop in! Worth a stroll. Across from Rittenhouse Park is a restaurant named Parc that has fantastic food for brunch or dinner! The breadbasket is to die for!
