How do I RSVP?

Answer

A section on our website will become live once we mail out our invitations. There, you'll be able to RSVP for any events you are on the guest list for (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, etc.).

Do I get a plus-one/can my children come?

Answer

When you RSVP on our website, you will see all invited persons attached to your name.

I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

We will post a section to our site outlining some hotel suggestions. If you are interested in staying in a hotel, please email us at hunterandalicia2025@gmail.com and we may be able to set up a hotel block to get a reduced rate for you.

Both the ceremony and reception are semi-formal events.

There is a registry section available on our website which will take you where you need to go.

How do I get to the venues?

Answer

On the "Schedule" page, the address for both the ceremony and the reception venues are listed. If you need directions from where you are staying, let us know and we can help you out!

Are the venues accessible?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception venues are wheelchair accessible.

What are the parking situations like?

Answer

Our ceremony venue has a large parking lot. For our reception, some street parking is available and the Market Street parking deck is a couple of blocks away. Street parking becomes free starting at 6:30 pm, and the parking deck offers a $7 flat rate evening fee.

Are the events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is fully indoors. The reception is indoors as well but does have a covered deck.

What will the weather be like in Wilmington while we're in town?

Answer

In late May and early June, temperatures can be pretty warm, usually between 80 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. We tend to get a handful of summer showers starting around this time as well. Pack for warm weather but be sure to bring a raincoat just in case!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Our reception menu will offer both vegetarian and vegan options for any who may want them. If you have any allergies or any dietary restrictions, be sure to mention them in the allocated section on the RSVP form.

What type of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

Fondue! There will be three courses: a cheese course (both regular and vegan options) including bread and vegetable dippers, a broth course with different meat and vegetable dipper options, and a chocolate course (both regular and vegan options) with various sweet treat dippers.

Will there be an after-party?

Answer

We will not be hosting an after-party, but the reception will be taking place in downtown Wilmington, where there are many bar and lounge options should you like to keep the party going.

When can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that all guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as it will be a Liturgy of the Word. However, guests are encouraged to take as many pictures as they want at our reception!

Will there be a live-stream of the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be live-streaming the wedding! We understand that Wilmington is very far away for some of our guests and would like to provide them the option of still watching the ceremony if they cannot make the trip.
