Our story began when we walked side by side in a mutual friend’s quinceañera. In that moment — dressed in our best and caught in the magic of the celebration — we couldn’t help but notice something special in each other. Though life carried us on separate paths for a while, fate had its own plans. Three years later, we found our way back to one another, and from our very first date, we knew we’d never want to be apart again. What started as a sweet memory became the love of a lifetime. 💕
To celebrate our seven-year anniversary, Freddy planned a weekend getaway to Martha’s Vineyard from August 16–18, 2025. He handled every detail, and I was just along for the ride—completely (semi) unaware of what was coming. We spent the weekend exploring the island and doing all the classic tourist things. On our actual anniversary, August 17th, Freddy made dinner reservations at a beautiful restaurant to celebrate. But before dinner, he suggested we catch the sunset at Moshup Beach in Aquinnah. As we walked along the shore, he casually pointed out a man sitting alone and said he looked like a family friend. Just a few steps later, Freddy gently nudged me aside, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. That “familiar-looking” man? He immediately stood up and started snapping photos—it turns out he was a secret photographer Freddy had arranged to capture the entire moment. It was magical, unforgettable, and perfectly us.
