FAQs

We hope this answers some of your questions about our special day. Should you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to the Maid of Honor, Brooke Cleland, at (724) 691-9259.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal attire. Men should wear suits, please no jeans. Women can choose an evening gown, a midi dress, or a nice jumpsuit. We’d love for everyone to feel comfortable and ready to celebrate with us! We are also kindly asking guests to avoid wearing sky/light blue as this will be worn by the bridal party.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we did not give out any blank plus ones. Those who are invited will receive an invitation with their name on it.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we’ve decided to make our wedding a primarily adults-only celebration. If your child is invited, their name will be on your invitation & RSVP.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a room block at The Priory Hotel, where the reception is being held, as well as additional room blocks at the Springhill Suites and Holiday Inn Express on the North Shore. Please mention the "Cleland-Wilson Wedding" when booking! See the "Travel" tab for more information!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you opt to stay with us at The Priory Hotel, we will provide a shuttle to the ceremony and back. There will not be a shuttle available from the other hotels.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony is available along the street near St. Peter Catholic Church or in the Allegheny Center Garage. The Priory offers complimentary valet parking for all wedding guests.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We plan to begin the ceremony promptly at 2:00 p.m. We ask our guests to begin arriving at the church at 1:30 p.m.
