“Worth the Wait”

Alicia (myself) was born a small town girl, meanwhile Darren was born and raised a city boy. We met in 8th grade and within a week became very close friends. We officially started dating May 8, 2013. Our first date we sat on a blanket listening to music and talking while enjoying the view of moonlight and stars at Crompton Park in Worcester, MA. On February 14, 2014 Darren surprised me with a proposal (I believe I said yes although it’s currently year 2023 so my memory could be betraying me 😆 - I’m joking I most definitely said YES!) We both agreed to start a family and have three beautiful, smart and sassy children (so far) - Kaden born in July 2014, Julia born August 2016 and Noemi born September 2020. Our life may be hectic and uncertain at times but we have our growing love to keep us happy and secure and with every moment I appreciate him as I know he appreciates me. I look forward to finally being Mr and Mrs. Colón and experiencing what our future brings next! ❤️ Thanks for reading our story and hopefully you’ll get to know us more!
