Maid of Honor
Christina is Alicia's maid of honor. They first met in middle school when Christina was Alicia's tutor. She would engage her by studying with jingles to theme songs and reward her with wheat thins and cheez-its. They quickly became friends and this grew over time. Shared childhood hobbies included mailing letters to each other, creating long, complicated hand shakes/ performing them in public, eating dominos, and playing the sims at odd hours of the night. They also enjoyed making complex scrap books for each other. If you didn't know better, you might think they were in a relationship. Christina lives in New Jersey. Despite the geographical distance, they still talk all day every day.
Mike Kovars
Best Man
Mike is both the older brother of Adam and the Best Man. Growing up as the older child, Mike enjoyed beating up on Adam, destroying his toys and overall trying to exert his dominance. However Mike quickly learned that his current larger frame would not be permanent, so he decided to make a truce and they’ve been best friends ever since. After business school, Mike decided to head out west to Portland where he took a job with Nike, and his shoe collection has been growing ever since (ask to see a picture, it is quite impressive). Mike’s interests include Marathon’s, taking his dog Bea to the beach, and falling asleep on the couch after eating a meal of chips and salsa.
Sam Tisi

Alicia first met Sam while working as her babysitter. This small age gap didn't keep them apart and they eventually became close friends. In high school they joined track together, however spent most of their time driving around town or at Dunkin Donuts instead. As a pair, they are typically overdressed for most occasions and are guaranteed to have a photo shoot wherever they go. They both were frequent attendees at the local Italian restaurant, D'Oro, which became their own private hangout after hours. Sam currently lives in New Jersey but spends most of her free time in San Diego.
Justin Levitas
Groomsman
Justin is one of Adam’s oldest friends from childhood. Adam and Justin typically took turns sleeping over each other’s households, going on vacations with each other’s family, and getting into all sorts of trouble that both of their parents would like to forget. After living in NYC for many years and developing a taste for skinny jeans and martinis, Justin and his fiancé Tati moved out to Denver, CO with their adorable French bulldog Bruce. Fun fact: Justin has earned the term “Water God” with those close to him for his frequent ability to drain the entire household of hot water in a single shower, leaving none for anyone else.
Sam Citron

Samantha and Alicia met in first grade, which they would ultimately go on to repeat together the following year. They both eventually made it through to second grade, but this experience bonded them for life. These two are now more like sisters than friends. From fighting over barbie outfits to embarrassing nights on the town, they have been through it all. They were both cheerleaders in high school, and would spend most of their time isolating themselves from their Chatham schoolmates and blending in with the Madison crowd. Samantha is a lover of diet coke, cheese, and hot sauce. She currently lives in Northern Virginia.
Peter Rogers

Peter quickly developed into one of Adam’s good friends growing up and later became a roommate while living in Baltimore. Peter shares Adam’s same affinity for 90’s alternative rock music, cheesy action movies and hatred/love of Baltimore sports. Often found distant from his phone with his nose in a 1000 page historical non-fiction novel about the War of 1812, Peter lives in Baltimore and is finishing up his last year of Law School. If you want to know anything about St. Michaels and its historical significance, Peter is your man and will gladly discuss it with you.
Meg Bosse
Bridesmaid
Meg and Alicia first met while attending a party at Stevenson University. They would run into each other often at Meg's place of work, Unsun, which is a local tanning studio . They both had horribly orange fake tans but rocked them nonetheless. They soon realized they had more in common than they thought and became close friends. Most evenings would involve going to the baseball/lax parties and ending with taco bell. They would go on to become roommates after college and continue their shenanigans in Baltimore. Meg is currently living in San Diego.
Pat Gillece

Pat and Adam first met during little league sports, including soccer and tennis, where they both showed mediocre abilities and never pursued these after high school. Later on Adam was lucky to learn Pat was joining him at Gilman where the friendship continued to grow. Known as “Little Baby Geoffrey” due to his small physique and overall babyish qualities, Pat has remained one of Adam’s best friends through the years. Pat now resides with his wife Jen in Washington, DC.
Amanda Calcado

Amanda and Alicia actually started off disliking each other. Amanda thought Alicia was obnoxious, and Alicia thought Amanda was rude and couldn't dress. They were forced to get past this due to their mutual friends Kelsi and Whitney, and eventually realized that they enjoyed each other's company. As roommates, they frequently could be found at the kitchen counter listening to 90's music and taking too many pictures of themselves. Alicia was fond of breaking into Amanda's room and frightening her with anxiety attacks in the middle of the night. They also bonded over their Jersey Italian families and their love of all things animal related. Amanda currently lives in Maryland but is constantly traveling the US for work.
Griff Shay

Adam first met Griff in middle school. They developed into great friends over the years, despite Griff's love for the Redskins from an early age. Sadly Griff has had to watch the Ravens win 2 Superbowls during his lifetime and exert their regional dominance while the Redskins have floundered, putting up pathetic performances each year. Currently residing in Charleston, SC, Griff’s hobbies consist of walking his oversized Bernise Mountain dog Jackson, yelling obscenities at the TV during sporting events, and listening to Kid Rock albums on repeat.
Whitney Pryor

Whitney and Alicia first met at Stevenson where they went on to become roommates. Whitney was the ideal roommate- she was respectful, clean, and quiet. Alicia was the opposite. It was their differences that ultimately drew them to become such great friends. They both love to cook and eat delicious foods. Whitney has an exaggerated story for every situation, and I guarantee she knows someone who had the same gluten intolerance as your great great aunt but it ended up being a rare disease. Whitney is a die hard Sims player and has a strange obsession for cats. She resides with her husband in Boston.
John Skolnik

John attended Washington and Lee with Adam and they quickly became good friends. John and Adam decided to join the same fraternity and underwent the pledgeship process together. This led to many late nights running errands and numerous embarrassing antics which will never be spoken of again. However, they both made it through this ridiculous time and are stronger friends for it. For instance, Adam learned that John is unable to eat a sandwich without it getting all over his face due to his tiny mouth. He also is amazingly fast, despite his general lack of exercise or fitness level. Their friendship continued through college and they both lived together in DC, where John still resides with his fiancé Cass.
Kelsi Zimmerman

Love at first sight is a good way to explain Kelsi and Alicia's friendship. While sitting alone at a pizza place in college, Kelsi kindly invited Alicia to sit with her. Kelsi then observed Alicia open her pizza box and return it to the counter exclaiming "this is not fresh mozzarella." The rest is history. They coincidentally lived next door to each other and would go on to be roommates. They both had a shared loved for mermaiding, tanning, iced coffee, and late night lib sessions. Kelsi also convinced Alicia that she came close to burning down their apartment, and kept this secret for 6 years. After years of guilt, Kelsi finally admitted that it was actually her. She resides in NYC and is a fashion icon.
Brian Carroll
Groomsman
Brian and Adam’s friendship began while attending Gilman together. It is there where they both played football and Brian excelled at lacrosse, going on to play at UVA. Adam would frequently visit both Brian and his twin brother Kevin at UVA, where they would make him listen to hours of PHISH, stating confidently and unwaveringly that they put on the “most electrifying concert ever.” Brian later moved back to Baltimore and into the same building as Adam and Alicia, fulfilling their life long desire to not have to leave their residence on weekends but still be sociable.
Mark Gordon
Groomsman
Mark and Adam first met at Georgetown Homecoming, a school that both Mark and Adam did not attend and had no business being at their homecoming. From there Mark joined Adam’s DC friend group and cemented himself as a permanent feature at social gatherings, often drinking out of his shoe as a party trick. Mark quickly became one of Adam’s best friends and they remain close despite Mark moving to Boston and then New York to pursue a career in Law. Mark will sing City High’s “What Would You Do” Accapella at any time upon request.
