Alicia and Spencer met at Ozark High School through mutual friends in 2008. They lived in different states for many years, but always found ways to get together. Alicia’s best friend, Rachel, married Spencer’s younger brother Jansen, who always brought them together for summers, holidays and fun weekends. Sharing their love of travel, they took many road trips over the years- from the beaches to the mountains and rivers in between. Camping, biking, hiking, floating, boating, SKC soccer games, many concerts and festivals brought them closer with each adventure. In Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2021, they decided to make their relationship official without spending any more time apart. Alicia moved back to her home town in Missouri for a new job and to be near her family, friends and Spencer. Nearly two years later, in the mountains of Ponca, Arkansas, Spencer asked Alicia to marry him, start a family together and continue to “be my best friend for the next 60 years of our lives.” On August 30th, 2023 they welcomed a healthy and happy little girl into the world, Addison Mae Pilkington. They have enjoyed every moment of the new chapter as parents, building a beautiful life together. Alicia and Spencer will be married in the presence of their favorite people on November 2nd, 2024 in Walnut Shade, Missouri. We hope you will join us on this special day!
