Our story began back in the tenth grade at Buckhorn High School. After two mutual friends introduced us we both were wondering if the other felt any connection. But we exchanged phone numbers and began talking to one another. Over the next couple of weeks we talked and grew closer and then went on our first date! From there we continued to date for the next six years until DJ proposed on May 17, 2018.

We were at the beach with our friends. Spring was ending and the water was getting warm. Before dinner one night we went down to the beach. We walked down to where the water was just at our feet. As we were standing by the water looking out toward the ocean he got down on one knee and popped the question! Of course the answer was YES! And from that moment we had decided on forever.
