We've been monitoring the coronavirus situation over the past few months and as things have been improving here and in Spain, our wedding planner has advised us to plan as normal. Whilst we're still looking at a plan B, we're confident that we'll still be able to tie the knot come October!
Cocktail attire: Girls cocktail wear and guys suits (tie and jacket optional). No jeans, shorts or trainers. Ladies, bear in mind there are grassy areas so watch for footwear! It can get chilly in the evenings so we suggest bringing a jacket for later.
Yes we do. Your attendance is more than gift enough for us but if you'd like to get us something from the registry the link is below and it'll be live from 1 August: https://prezola.com/wishlists/10226459/
The average temperature will be around 24degrees and (hopefully!) sunny. Note: we do have a wet weather Plan B.
Both at Casa Benigalip. We'll be spending out whole day there.
The ceremony starts at 3 p.m. so we advise you get to the venue 45mins before – we want the day to run as smoothly as possible! Light refreshments will be available on arrival.
We’re planning to spend the majority of the day and evening outdoors – there'll be shade from the sun or cover from any rain.
For the most of the day, there'll be free-flowing drinks all day! From 10:30 p.m., there'll be a very subsidised cash bar so please bear in mind some cash for those who want to keep boozing until the party’s over!
Unfortunately not, we'll only accommodate those listed on your invite.
We'll be arranging a coach to and from the venue from the Hotel Olivo where we've recommended as suggestion for guests to stay. Please confirm you'd like a seat on the coach when you RSVP. Otherwise, we'd advise arranging a taxi to take you to the venue and pick you up. You can also drive to the venue and leave your car - you just need to pick it up before 11 a.m. the next day.
Yes - please let us know your dietary requirements when you RSVP.
We'll be organising welcome drinks for the Thursday evening before the wedding from 5:30 p.m. (location TBC) so we'd recommend getting to Spain in time for that. After the wedding, feel free to stay and soak up the sun as long as your annual leave allows! There's loads to do along the Costa Blanca including a direct ferry to Ibiza from Denia...
We appreciate you're travelling from all over to celebrate with us. We've provided some suggestions of in the travel section of the site, but these are just ideas. Have a look at options in the area and find suitable accommodation that works for you and your party size!
All information for nearest airports and best way to find flights are in the travel section of the site.
There are numerous taxi companies in Denia that can scoop you up after a few drinks on both the Thursday and/or Friday to take you back to your bed (links will be provided closer to the time).
Yes of course! We only ask two things: 1. that you hold off posting any pictures of the bride and groom until the following day, and 2. please tag any photos with our wedding hashtag #happilyeverheald so we can keep track of all your pics!
