NYC has three main airports: JFK, EWR, LGA JFK is arguably the easiest to get into the city via public transport, but Uber and / or Yellow Cabs can all take you to wherever you're staying.

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
3 Brewster Rd, Newark, NJ 07114 Newark is technically located in New Jersey, but is a short trip into Manhattan and then to Brooklyn. There are also public transportation options from Newark: the New Jersey Transit line can take you to Penn Station where you can then access all subways in the city.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
Queens, NY 11371 For our international travelers, LaGuardia may not be an option, as the international flights from this airport are limited. LaGuardia is the only airport option that does not have a public transportation option into the city, but cabs or Uber can take you to either Brooklyn or Manhattan fairly quickly.
