Celebrate with us!

We have postponed our wedding (well kinda!). We will be getting legally married on April 17, 2020 in Boone with parents in attendance. Next year we'll celebrate with everyone at our venue on Saturday, April 17, 2021! You can update your RSVP at anytime!

We met at the Appalachian State football game versus Wake Forest. Matt was enjoying the game with family friends Lori & Brandon and Alice was there with her parents. The game was going pretty poorly for App St so Matt and Alice (after being introduced by Lori) started talking about the "Not Top 10 ESPN Plays" that App St would be featured in. We continued to talk and agreed to meet up to tailgate at the next football game and the rest was history!

The day started off with a trip to pick up lunch and then on to Alice's favorite place in the world, Greyson Highlands State Park in Virginia. Matt's best friend Alex joined us on the trip since he was visiting from out of town. After doing some hiking, taking a picture at the Appalachian sign post (an Osteen family tradition), we ate lunch on the large climbing rocks next to trail. Then Matt got Alex to take some pictures of us on top of the rocks. Little did Alice know that Alex was secretly videoing as Matt asked her to marry him and of course she said YES! Many cheers and congratulations were heard all around from other hikers!
