Semi-formal or cocktail attire. It is traditional to wear bright colours, like pinks, yellows and oranges, to a Mehndi party. Guests are welcome to wear whatever style of dress they feel most comfortable in, whether that is Western clothing or traditional Pakistani dress, like lengha, sari, kurta or salwar kameez.
The Mehndi party will be hosted by Fahmida and Mansha, Idrees's mother and father, in their home. A Mehndi is a pre-wedding event during which the bride and other guests will have henna designs applied to their hands or feet.

This brunch is kindly being hosted by Aslam and Fozia, Idrees's uncle and aunt. Event details will follow shortly.

Formal attire. Guests are welcome to wear whatever style of dress they feel most comfortable in, whether that is Western clothing or traditional Pakistani dress, like lengha, sari, kurta or salwar kameez.
Guests should arrive by 4pm. The groom will then arrive, greeted by the bride's family, and later the bride, greeted by the groom's family. The ceremony and reception will follow.

The Walima is an event traditionally hosted by the groom's family following the Nikah to welcome the bride into the groom's family.
