What time should I show up?
Answer
Doors will open right at 6pm for a light social hour. During this time, you can enjoy appetizers, mingle, and sign our guestbook before festivities begin!

What should I wear?
Answer
Wear something classy and comfortable! Anything from dressy casual to formal to semi-formal. We also invite you to wear African traditional clothing if you wish.

I’m traveling, which airport should I fly to?
Answer
We recommend William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) which will be a bit closer to the venue and easier to navigate than George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), but either airport will get you into Houston!

Where should I stay?

We have provided a list of nearby accommodations under the Travel tab, but you are welcome to stay wherever it’s convenient for you.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transportation to and from the venue.

We welcome you to bring a plus one. If you are unable to RSVP for them, please let us know so we can update our list to include them in our final count.

Can I take my own pictures?
Answer
Of course! We welcome your pictures and encourage you to upload any pictures or videos to our shared album (there will be a QR code at the welcome table). We simply ask that you do not share pictures of us on social media or post any of our information. Thank you for your understanding!

What if I have a food allergy?

Please RSVP and let us know ASAP! We will be having traditional west African dishes, but we want to ensure our guests are safe and have food options available.
