We recommend William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) which will be a bit closer to the venue and easier to navigate than George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), but either airport will get you into Houston!
Please reach out to us to coordinate pickup from Hobby Airport or the Amtrak Train Station up to 5pm on 12/12. We will also try to provide transportation to and from the venue if you let us know where you’re staying.
We have provided a list of nearby accommodations under the Travel tab, but you are welcome to stay wherever it’s convenient for you. We are working to arrange booking coupons at the IHG hotel options. Stay tuned!
Doors will open right at 6pm for a light social hour. During this time, you can enjoy appetizers, mingle, and sign our guestbook before festivities begin!
We’re not picky, but most people will likely be dressed in formal evening wear. We also invite you to wear formal African traditional clothing if you wish. Nigerian weddings are vibrant and joyful, so colorful attire is encouraged.
Yes! If you need a ride, please reach out to us to coordinate transportation.
We are registered with Amazon, Walmart, and through Zola. You can find our registry list through our Zola wedding website.
Absolutely! Just keep in mind that festivities may run past their bedtime.
We welcome you to bring a plus one. If you are unable to RSVP for them, please let us know so we can update our list to include them in our final count.
Of course! We welcome your pictures and encourage you to upload any pictures or videos to our shared album (there will be a QR code at the tables). We simply ask that you do not share pictures of us on social media or post any of our information. Thank you for your understanding!
Please RSVP and let us know ASAP! We will be having traditional west African dishes, but we want to ensure our guests are safe and have food options available.
It's no obligation, but you may wish to come prepared to spray the bride a groom! For those who are unaware, "spraying" at African weddings refers to the cultural tradition of guests showering the couple with cash as a sign of love, support, and celebration. There will be a table at the venue dedicated to exchanging cash to dollar bills.
Feel free to reach out to Godfred or Alice directly. You might also be able to text us through Zola: 917-695-8058
