Milan Airport to Bressana Argine /Pinarolo Po

There are three different airports to fly into Milan - Milan Malpensa, Milan Bergamo and Linate. Each of these airports are a similar distance from Pavia. (around an hour and a half car ride) So you can fly to any. When you arrive at the airport you can either pick up your rental car or catch a shuttle bus which will take you to the centre of Milan. From there you can catch a train. please see train and rental details.

Train

Milan airport to Bressana Argine /Pinarolo Po

If you choose not to drive you can catch a bus from the airport to the centre of milan. You can search for shuttles, buses and trains using trainitalia or Omio. A shuttle from Malpensa runs every hour. It costs 12 euros per person and takes around 45minutes. It will drop you off in Milan Cadorna or Milan Centrale. After this you will need to navigate the metro. From Centrale FS: yellow line, 12 stops to go to Milano Rogoredo to catch a train (40minutes) to Bressana Argine or Pinarolo Po. From Cadorna: green line, 9 stops to go to Lambrate FS to catch a train (45minutes) to Bressana Argine or Pinarolo Po A shuttle from Bergamo runs even as often as every 10 minutes depending on the time of day. It costs around 10 euros per person and takes around 1hour. The shuttle will normally drop you off in piazza luigi di Savoia. Here you can walk 6 minutes to the yellow metro line (Centrale FS) ride 12 stops to Milano Rogoredo and catch a train to bressana argine or Pinarolo Po (35 minutes) From bressana train station there is a 5 minute walk until arriving at the local bed and breakfast if you choose to stay in Bressana. There is also a local supermarket, pharmacy and bars and cafes at walking distance.

This is a great bed and breakfast in Bressana where you can position yourselves for the majority of your stay. It is at walking distance to the train station, supermarket, pharmacy and bars /cafes. We live 7 minutes up the road so we can easily see and spend time with guests who stay here before and after the wedding. Guests can also choose to stay in the centre of Pavia where there are lots of shops, bars etc. However this is a 40 minute drive from us and an hour and a half drive from the wedding venue.

Salice Terme

Salice is a 2 minute car ride from the wedding venue in Godiasco. In Salice there are no end of hotels, bed and breakfasts and air bed and breakfasts. Have a look online to explore and choose the right hotel for you. I would recommend guests stay the night of the 24th here in salice terme. Salice is a beautiful place with bars and restaurants, an outdoor adventure park, outdoor swimming pools and spa. Those of you who would like to book the same hotel as us on the night of the 23rd, one day before the wedding, and the night of the 25th, one day after the wedding, we will be doing a group reservation at one of the hotels in salice. You can collect your car from the airport. make sure when you arrive at the airport the hire car place is open and that you have your international driving licence. the drive from each airport to bressana is aroud one hour to one hour and a half.
