We're getting married!

We met on social media and I immediately notice how beautiful she was, but what really got me were her eyes. Big, bright, and beautiful - like they could see right through my soul. From the start, we hit it off and our conversations would sometimes go from deep debates to silly "would you rather" questions in a matter of minutes. We talked about any and everything... We talked continuously for a couple of weeks before meeting in person. However, thanks to FaceTime, we already knew what each other looked like. I made arrangements for a date at a restaurant where we had dinner and some wine. Seeing her in person took her beauty to a whole new dimension, those hypnotic eyes were something else... After that first date, things moved fast. I wasted no time planning more romantic dates, and we basically became addicted to each other. Texts, calls, voice notes - you name it. Things were going great, then a few months after we started planning a trip together. That trip was pure magic! it was one of those trips where everything just felt right. We both still talk about going back to Amsterdam just to relive the whole experience twice over. Nearly two years later, here we are, still glued together like two halves of a well-balanced meal. Life has been nothing short of amazing, and honestly, we couldn't be happier. - Dami

Marriage was always a topic of conversation between us - countless discussions about our future, family and what kind of wedding we'd have. But despite all that, I never thought the proposal would happen so soon. If anything, I had convinced myself it would be around mid - 2025. Looking back now, the signs were everywhere - I just didn't put the pieces together in time. I mean, how many times can a couple "accidentally" find themselves outside a jewellery store, staring at engagement rings like window shopping was a new hobby? And let's not even talk about the number of times we debated wedding details for "the future". Bu still, I was blissfully unaware. That is, until the week he proposed. Something was different about him - he had this aura, like he wanted to tell me something... He kept asking random questions about my clothing size, which raised a tiny flag in my mind, but even then, I brushed it off. And then, the moment arrived. He took me to this gorgeous rooftop restaurant, and the second I stepped in and saw the setup - a beautifully decorated table with flowers, balloon and rose petals - it hit me. This was it. I was about to become someone's fiancé. It was a beautiful moment and I couldn't be happier. - Alice
