When should I RSVP by?
Answer
As soon as possible, but June 2025 at the latest. Use the RSVP tab at this top of this page, or scan the QR code on your invitation to let us know if you'll be coming. Otherwise, please bring a chair and a sandwich.

Do I need a passport to get to Alaska?
Answer
Normally I would say something sarcastic about Alaska being one of the 50 US states, BUT you will need your Real ID to travel to Alaska starting in May 2025, and if you don't have that you can use your passport instead. So.....kinda!

What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
Semi-formal / dressy casual. The dress code is more of a guideline than an actual code. It's a wedding, but it's in rural Alaska - we're just happy you're here to celebrate with us (just remember that whatever you wear will be memorialized in our wedding photos forever, no pressure!).

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! Please check out the travel section of our website. Note: August is tourist season here, so hotels and rentals tend to fill up quickly.

Should I rent a car?
Answer
Renting a car is highly recommended. Kodiak is a very cool place, but it isn't very walkable, especially to our venue. If you want to make the most of your trip here, you will need a car (when in Rome, and all).

Will it be snowing during the wedding?
Answer
The odds are low, but never zero. Pack accordingly. As the locals say, there's no bad weather, only bad gear.
