⛴️ Steamship Authority Ferry
If you plan on bringing a car over to the island, this is your ferry! 🚙 Book your reservation ASAP with the Steamship Authority out of Woods Hole. You'll arrive into either Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs and can enjoy a scenic drive to your accommodations! The Steamship Authority is also a great option for those looking to park their cars and walk on. Parking is available at two lots on Cape Cod, where a bus will take you on a short trip to the ferry terminal. Passenger tickets do not need to be purchased in advance, but can be purchased online or inside the ticket office at the ferry dock. For those who may be joining us just for the day on Saturday, this is also the best bet! The last boat of the evening departs Vineyard Haven at 9:30pm. Please let us know if you need transportation from the wedding directly to the ferry!

⛴️ Island Queen Ferry
A short 35-minute ferry from Falmouth to Oak Bluffs. Parking on-site in Falmouth! Arrive early to ensure parking availability and enjoy a drink and snack on the boat! 🥤 Please check the September schedule at the link below as return ferries do not run at night. A great option for folks spending the weekend on the island!

A short 1-hour trip from Hyannis into Oak Bluffs. Parking available - sit upstairs on the deck with goodies from the snack bar 🥨. Please note that the Hy-Line also offers limited sailing times in the September season.

Select flights are available directly to and from MV from Boston and NY, but please proceed with caution as these flights are often delayed or canceled due to weather, and we don't want you to miss any of the good stuff!

Getting Around
A car on the island is not necessary, especially if staying in Edgartown or Oak Bluffs. Public busses run frequently to all towns, and Uber and Lyft are (finally!) available on island, as are taxis and bike rentals.
