We met during an interesting time in our lives while working at the same place and fell in love unexpectedly. It was Val's first day and upon first sight they thought to themselves, "Woah, who's that blonde?". We bonded over Spanish Oldies, cafecito in the break room and Ali's wish to learn how to dance Salsa. After weeks of endless laughter, playful gazes, and stumbling upon a Tango class by the Andy Warhol Bridge, we knew it was the start of something magnificent.

Under the impression that I was accompanying Val to a work event we ended up at a wine cave, where I was swept away to the most beautiful, well- thought out and romantic proposal. Rose petals, candle light, champagne and of course, The love of my life, on one knee asking me to spend the rest of my life with them. Followed by tears of joy at what was happening and by the sight of my family standing by the door as I said "YES", we celebrated the beginning of the rest of our lives together.
