Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is located on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains in west-central Colorado. It exposes some of the steepest cliffs, oldest rock, and craggiest spires in North America. No Reservations are required to enter but the fee is $30 per vehicle.
This town is about an hour from Paonia and ten minutes from Grand Junction and is known for its wineries.
