Through thick and thin, Sarah has been by Ali's side. Sarah is one of the most encouraging people in her life, always looking at the positive side of things. She's been there for Ali and Ali has been there for her and their friendship is like no other. Now it's her turn to stand by Ali on her wedding day!
Jason Sincock
Best Man
Sean and Jason are childhood best friends. Jason, knowing their friendship, was excited that Sean had got engaged and had a feeling that he would be his best man. To Sean, it was an easy pick, Jason of course. Before Sean had a chance to ask Jason to be his best man, Jason drunkenly at a wedding cried to Kyle, Sean's brother, asking worriedly if he was going to be Sean's best man. Jason was quickly reassured and is happy to be standing by Sean's side on his wedding day, despite him not remembering that night and stating "I'm getting way more hammered at your wedding."
Cassie Willis
Bridesmaid
Would you believe it if we said that Ali met Cassie in 5th grade? Me neither. Cassie and Ali met at Lima Rec the first year being in an Elim building that isn't even there anymore! Cassie and Ali have always had a mutual love for Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Old Navy, and Monopoly (among many other things!). Although their friendship has been put to the test several times during their Monopoly games, Ali would of course still be honored to have Cassie stand by her on her wedding day.
Kyle Smetanka
Groomsman
Kyle, being the second out of three boys, is closest in age to Sean, and has (until recently) has been closest in proximity to Sean as well. After graduating college, Sean moved to Rochester and soon found himself to be once again, living with his older brother Kyle. Despite multiple moves since then, Sean is happy to have Kyle stand by his side on his wedding day.
Laura Detrick
Bridesmaid
Ali has known Laura since she was a baby. Literally! She met Laura when she was two, just learning how to speak. To see her grow up into the beautiful teenager that she is now has been a pleasure. She's somehow sassier than Ali, extremely intuitive, and very intelligent. Having Laura stand by her on her wedding day will only add to the much needed sass and spunk their wedding day needs.
Kevin Smetanka
Groomsman
Kevin is the eldest of the three Smetanka boys and is also the loving father to Sean's only nieces and nephews, Hannah, Nolan, and Braxton. Kevin, normally the quiet one of the three boys, showed a different side of himself when Sean asked him to be his groomsman and of course hearing that there was going to be an open bar at the wedding.
Emily Sweet
Bridesmaid
Meeting at youth group when they were just awkward teenagers, Emily and Ali have come a long way in their friendship. Going through several hardships and break ups as well as enjoying dancing in the middle of the Dansville roads and enjoying her own wedding, Ali is glad to have Emily stand by her side on her big day.
Jacob Lyon
Groomsman
The one and only brother of Ali's, Jacob and Ali grew up with the classic "annoying little brother" "spoiled big sister" relationship. In addition to getting on each others' nerves, lying to try to get out of trouble, and cheating during any game played (Jacob doing the cheating of course), they also have had plenty of joyful experiences and actually tolerate each other as adults.
Braxton Smetanka
Ring Bearer
Braxton is the youngest of three and the most recent addition to the Smetanka clan. Braxton will be almost two by the time the wedding date comes around and most likely more mobile than ever. We chose Braxton not only for his cuddly, easy flowing personality but also for the little brunette curls. Who could resist?!
