FAQs

Question

How is Atlanta's Public Transport system?

Answer

Atlanta's main transit system is called MARTA, which is comprised of a small rail sytem, buses, mobility / ADA-services, and a streetcar. While there are public transit options, many only cover the immediate Atlanta area and are not ideal for the greater metro area. We highly encourage our guests to take advantage of ride sharing services like Uber/ Lyft, or to rent a car for the weekend to explore.

Question

Flying Domestic to/ from ATL

Answer

Domestic travelers will enter and exit through the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport entrance: 6000 N Terminal Pkwy Suite 4000, Atlanta, GA 30320 Once you arrive, head towards the middle of the terminal and there will be an escalator down to the Plane Train. Please take the train heading toward Domestic Baggage Claim. It will be the stop immediately after Concourse T.

Question

Flying Interational To/ From ATL

Answer

International travelers will typically enter and exit from the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal entrance: 2600 Maynard H. Jackson Jr. Blvd. Atlanta, GA 30354 Depending on whether customs were done beforehand, you may need to first go through Immigration and Customs. If customs were done before you boarded, check your airline app or speak with a gate agent to determine which baggage claim you will need to collect your belongings from. ATL has two baggage claims: one for international and one for domestic, but bags can be sent to either depending on circumstance. Once you arrive, head towards the middle of the terminal and there will be an escalator down to the Plane Train. After determining which baggage claim to collect from, please take the train heading toward either International Baggage Claim at Concourse F or Domestic Baggage Claim (stop immediately after concourse T).

Question

Ride Sharing Area at ATL

Answer

ATL has dedicated areas for ride share pickups. For those at the domestic baggage claim, you can walk to the ride share area on the North Terminal side. There will be an escalator/ elevator going downstairs in between doors N2 and N3. Follow the signage until you arrive. *Please note rideshare services will not pick up from the arrivals area on the domestic side. For those at the international baggage claim, you can call an Uber/ Lyft directly from the arrivals pick up area.
