Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The celebration will start at 6:30 pm as you join us for cocktail hour. The reception ends at 11 pm. Feel free to stay the entire time or just stop by for as long as you are able to.

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

Masks are required if you step indoors. Since it is an outdoor event, they are not required for the reception except when going into the building. We are now asking that anyone who comes to the wedding be vaccinated.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/Cocktail attire but whatever you feel your best in or is most comfortable is fine too! While the reception is inside a tent and any shoes would work there, the cocktail hour will be on a canopy walk high above ground level where heels may not work as well. I would suggest a pair of flats or bringing a change of shoes with you as you will be at an Arboretum and may want to explore the grounds.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding reception is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. Some kiddos may be present but they are limited to our immediate family. We thank you for your understanding.

Question

Will dinner be provided?

Answer

There will be hors d'oeuvres served at cocktail hour and a sit down dinner provided at the reception. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please send us a message letting us know!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list due to space constraints/covid-19 restrictions at our venue, we are regrettably unable to extend invitations for additional plus ones. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes, parking is free and you can park inside the Morris Arboretum parking lot.

Question

Is the reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes.

Question

Where is Morris Arboretum?

Answer

Morris Arboretum is located in Philadelphia's historic Northwest, just four miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the Blue Route/I-476, and a short drive from Center City Philadelphia.

Question

If using an Uber or Lyft or any other rideshare…

Answer

If guests are using rideshares, please make sure they give their drivers our street address 100 E. Northwestern Avenue or they will be dropped off at the wrong side of property. If using ride share at end of the night, guests should call 30 minutes prior to end of party.

Question

Is there a rain date?

Answer

No. The party will be happening rain or shine. We will make the best of it if it rains, and cocktail hour will be moved to the tent where the reception will be.
