Maid of Honor
Sister of the Bride—she is a fierce friend who cannot wait to get this party started! Since she was born, she has always been Samantha MY America. My little sister, my blue eyed baby doll, Samantha has been my confidante, my cheerleader, and my best friend through every chapter of life. From putting on shows in our garage, to cheerleading competitions and making up dances at the lake to our favorite 90’s country songs, I’m so grateful to have her by my side as I begin this new one. Life has thrown many challenges at us along the way but a love like Samantha’s can transcend hardships because she is so strong. I couldn’t imagine taking this step without her unwavering support and endless love.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride since middle school cheerleading days, Brooke is the kindest prankster you will ever meet. She always lives up to her middle name, Joy — blessing me with a Godson, William Watson and her daughter, Vivian Louise. Brooke has been a constant source of laughter (ie. our midnight giggle fest at UCA Nationals 2005 in Orlando with mom & Manners that still makes us chuckle) and loyalty in my life, someone I know I can always count on. I am beyond grateful for the sisterhood we’ve built over the years. Nate and Brooke’s husband, Ross, were fast friends bonding over man things, like crossbows and Old Gregg. If you don’t know Old Gregg, consider yourself lucky.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride since ages 3 and 7, the Foleys and the Moores have been lifelong friends since our t-ball and sandbox days. Growing up in the same neighborhood and attending the same school, we have seen each other through all of life’s phases—the good, the bad, and the ugly. Just don’t ask Mamarazzi for photos from our awkward years! We have traveled across states and countries together. We climbed to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and camped on the farm at Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN. There is no one else I would share a twin bed with, because wherever you are, adventure follows. Sarah has always been a constant in my life, not only as a friend but as a sister in Christ who always leads me back to gratitude for His love. Thank you for your friendship and your faith, dear friend.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride, we met through our mutual friend, Daniel Hallock, in late college. Not being much of a “girl’s girl”, I was shocked at the instant connection I had with this little blonde spitfire who was obsessed with Justin Bieber. Soon we became partners in crime in Nashville, eventually leading to me standing at her wedding to her high school sweetheart, Michael and then becoming the Godmother to her two beautiful children, Elliott Elizabeth & Sutton Wilder.
Bridesmaid
Amanda Grace Cunningham came into my life in college. She had just started dating one of my best friends from high school, Daniel Hallock. And as a ‘guys’ girl’ I was never too keen on meeting new girlfriends. But I can admit when, I was wrong. And boy was I wrong about this girl. (This was the second best girl friend Daniel has introduced me to, so I have to give him credit for half of my bridesmaid lineup.) From sharing endless (and I mean endless) brunches to our deepest traumas & secrets, Grace has one of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She reminds me to slow down and appreciate the goodness that God continues to bless us with every single day. She is one of the strongest women I know and I am so honored to have her stand up with me on my wedding day.
Junior Maid of Honor
Kennedy Grace Kasper needs no introduction! Our little monkey is a stranger to no one and a force to be reckoned with — you should just see her down on Broadway! (She would recommend going to Chiefs to see where Morgan Wallen threw the chair off the roof.) As daughter of the groom, we are just thrilled to have her just as excited as we are to start our own family together.
Best Man
Best Friend of the Groom Meeting in high school after playing several sports together, Nick and Nate’s friendship really started to sprout their senior year when Nate begged Nick to come back and play basketball. (I think he just wanted someone to dunk on at practice.) Since then, their friendship has lasted through many phases of life. Nate stood as Best Man when Nick married his beautiful wife, Brittany and now gets to play Uncle Nate to their son, Nolan. Friendships like these stand the test of time and distance and we are so excited Nick is here to help us celebrate as we begin the next phase in our lives.
Groomsman
Nick, The Carpenter. Becoming friends as adults, Nate and Nick connected through single parent hardships. While leaning on each other during that time an unshakeable friendship emerged. Talk about a solid foundation. Nick has three kids, Quinn, Miller & Giovanni who Kennedy absolutely adores. We love spending time with Nick and his wife, Elena whenever we can on our weekends up to Valparaiso whether it is bowling with the kids or backyard swimming.
Groomsman
Matt Russell, The Cooler. Matt and Nate met through groomsman, Justin Herzog. After finding out they shared almost every single worldview, they became great friends. Matt is the kind of guy you can call up and ask about a lawn mower, your HVAC or when your 4-Wheel Drive light comes on in your truck, which Nate does quite often. Matt is the friend that you can escape every modern societal pull with and just spend the day as a river rat, drinking beers and smokin’ meat on the grill. Don’t be alarmed, when you shake his hand, it probably is just grease.
Groomsman
Justin Herzog, The Tinknocker. Justin and Nate met in high school. They connected through ‘mutual excellence’, Nate on the basketball count, Justin in the show cattle arena. (Talk about so authentic Indiana boys.) They experienced every single high school life lesson a boy could go through together. Nate became the unexpected tagalong when Justin would hit the road for shows. Their friendship continued to grow through adulthood and we are so grateful he is here to stand by us through one more life lesson.
Groomsman
William, The Spartan. Nick and William met when William walked onto the Taylor University basketball team. They started to develop a friendship as William began to adapt to the American life. Oh, yeah, William is from Greece. Opa! (Maybe we will have to take him by The Parthenon while he is in town for the wedding.) It has been Nate’s pleasure to experience William’s life achievements with him as adults. We are so grateful that William was willing to make the trip over to stand with Nate at our wedding.
Groomsman
Dallas, The Horse Trader. A true cowboy, Dallas may be one of the closest thing to a John Wayne in this town! Dallas and Nate met at Taylor University when Nate was playing basketball and Dallas was on the football team. Nate and Dallas leaned on each other through some of life’s hardest lessons, or rather, some of life inevitable lessons. Spending time camping and riding the trails, their bond grew into adulthood leading to Nate standing in Dallas’ wedding to his wife, Laura. We are so grateful for friendships that transcend time and distance and that he can return the honor by being a part of our special day.
Groomsman
Brother of the Bride—my ultimate protector. He’s the silliest ray of sunshine, always making life brighter and joy more contagious. He’s the one who can make me laugh even when I am mad or sad, and he somehow always knows when I need words of encouragement or just a hug (which is often). To know him is to love him, and my God, I am so grateful to have had him by my side since day one—even if he did want to leave me at the hospital by announcing “her stay here”.
Flower Girl
Goddaughter of the bride. Daughter of Michael and April Campbell. Elliott Elizabeth was the first Godchild I was blessed with in 2016. After years of being best friends with her mom, we finally had a little girl join our girl gang! On Elliott’s 8th birthday, I had the honor of watching as she committed herself to Christ as she was baptized of her own choosing. Watching her grow in faith and love for others has been such a blessing to this Godmama! Elliott and Kennedy were quick friends turned pen-pals after Kennedy spent the Fourth of July with us down in Nashville. We are so excited to see their friendship grow!
Flower Girl
Daughter of Daniel and Grace Hallock, friends of the bride. Born on June 15, 2018, Tolleson Rose, “Tolly,” came into my life as I patiently paced with her grandparents in the hospital waiting room. She has been, hands down, one of the biggest blessings in my life, embodying the spirit of Christ when I needed Him the most. From family vacations to weekend brunches, Tolly and Auntie Ali have shared so many memories over the past seven years. Her curiosity, laughter, and kind heart brighten every room she enters. I am so grateful for the joy and love she brings into my life every single day.
Flower Girl
Daughter of Ross and Brooke Vizard, friends of the bride. Vivian Louise is the cayenne pepper on top of a Louisiana gumbo. She gets her joy from her mother, and her tastebuds from her daddy. Vivian now attends the school where her mother and I met years ago and it is such a blessing seeing life come full circle with lifelong friends.
Ring Bearer
Son of Daniel and Grace Hallock, friends of the bride. Born on June 15, 2018, Holden James came into my life as I patiently paced with his grandparents in the hospital waiting room. Oh, wait—you’ve heard this story. Holden and Tolly are twins! :) But Holden James holds so much curiosity and spunk for life. The way he thinks out loud and isn’t afraid to question the world around him reminds me of the goodness that still exists in this world. He loves his parents and his sister deeply, but most of all, he loves Jesus. He truly is your best bud, and I can’t wait to see him cut a rug on the dance floor!
Ring Bearer
Godson of the bride. Sutton Wilder lives up to his middle name — this little pint sized boy packs a punch of energy but most of all love. He gives the best hugs and can brighten up any day. Sutton has a heart full of kindness, always looking out for those around him. I can’t wait to see the fun and mischief he brings to this celebration!
Ring Bearer
Son of Ross and Brooke Vizard, friend of the bride. Watson Vizard is my youngest Godson who gives this Fairy Godmother a run her for Holy water. He loves cicadas, s’mores, forts and boy does he love his new Uncle Nate. He keeps us all on our toes and we just hope he can make it down the aisle, don’t worry, we will have Holden carry the rings for us. But we do have a leash for Watson on hand, just in case!
Usher
Noah, Brother of the groom, The WWE Encyclopedia. Uncle Whoosh, as Kennedy calls him, is Nate’s youngest brother. While being the quietest Kasper in the room (and that says a lot!), he is always looking for the best in people. He always extends a hand to help and invest a lot of time into Kennedy. We love to see their bond grow as the years go on and we absolutely adore Uncle Whoosh!
Usher
Matt, Older brother of the Groom, The Veteran. Closest in age, Matt and Nate spent a lot of time together growing up in the same activities. He is still the reigning champ of putting Nate’s tooth through his lip (I might need some lessons on that trick for when his mouth gets a little sassy, as it tends to do.) Matt enjoys long, quiet drives across the country. Which we are getting a glimpse of as we make our trips up to Indiana. Matt served in the Army and has always been a strong pillar of personal responsibility. Serving in Afghanistan, his strength permeates through he family and we are grateful for not just his service to our country, but for the fact that we can call him Uncle Matt! Go Navy, beat Army!
Usher
Friend of the Bride, Matthew James Alexander, has been charming (and occasionally terrorizing) Nashville with his magnetic personality and infectious laugh for decades. He has a way of making everyone feel like an old friend and somehow manages to bring the party wherever he goes. Life is never boring with Matthew around, and I’m lucky to call him a friend. His loyalty runs as deep as his humor, always showing up when it matters most, right on my front door step for dinner & a movie. (Nate has gotten used to it by now.) I can’t wait to see the joy and energy he brings to this celebration because it will be nothing less of stunning, which he always is!
