Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail! Dresses and suits, But we want you to feel comfortable, so no ties necessary. Please note that the entire event is on hard packed sand, so feel free to leave the skinny stilettos at home! Recommend block heels or wedges.

Question

When/Where is the welcome drinks event?

Answer

Welcome drinks will be located at Islamorada Fish Company from 8:00pm-10:00pm. Come meet us after dinner to kick off the celebration with us! The party will be located our of the "point", look for the crossing tiki torches and follow the sound of the live music. Cheeca Lodge provides free shuttles to area restaurants, ask the valet to get you one! Open Bar Provided.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Island time Trolley will be transporting our guests to the venue (pickup times below) and with return guests on a loop to Cheeca Lodge and Sunset Inn. Pickup will begin at 4:15pm at Sunset Inn, 4:30 and 4:45 from Cheeca Lodge. Please arrive early as the trolley will not be large enough to fit all our guests in one load! If you miss the trolley, Cheeca Lodge does provide free shuttle service to area restaurants at limited availability.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! If you would like to bring them down to the keys for the rest of the weekend, you are more than welcome to make a vacation out of it! For the night of the wedding, please feel free to contact us for a list of recommended babysitters in the area.

What day should I get into town?

Answer

Whenever you want! The bride and groom will be there Wednesday - Monday. Thursday and Friday we plan to have some fun group events like fishing with groom and diving with the bride! We would be thrilled if you would like to come down early and hang out with us in paradise, or stay all week and make a vacation out of it!

Whats the weather like that time of year?

Answer

The weather in the Keys is beautiful in early March, low 80s during the day, but can be cool and breezy in the evenings, so bring a light jacket if you're cold natured!
