When should I RSVP by?

Dress for the weather, as there will be plenty of space to relax both indoors and outdoors at Garten Marketplatz. Springtime in Minnesota can be unpredictable, so we recommend checking the forecast the week of the event and dressing accordingly.

The reception runs from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, with last call at 4:30 pm.

We’ll be serving a selection of beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and hearty hors d’oeuvres. If you have any severe food allergies, please let us know as soon as possible so we can coordinate with our caterer.

The reception will take place at Garten Marketplatz (5225 County Rd 15 SW, Byron, MN 55920), a charming, family-run garden center located about 15 miles west of Rochester.

What if I want to stay longer?

Our venue rental ends at 5:00 PM, but the celebration continues! Join us downtown at The Tap House on Historic 3rd Street—just note that food and drinks will be on your own.

Rochester offers a variety of accommodations to suit every preference. For hotel recommendations, including downtown options within walking distance of the after party and west-side options closest to Garten Marketplatz, please visit the "Travel" page on our website.

There is on-site parking available at Garten Marketplatz; however, the amount may vary depending on how quickly the snow melts. If you can carpool to the reception, we recommend it to ensure everyone has a parking spot.

Transportation is not provided; however, the venue is easily accessible by car or rideshare services.

Yes! The garden center and gift shop will be open for regular business during the reception, so feel free to explore.
