State Street is the focal point of downtown Santa Barbara. Most of the restaurants and shops are located on or around State Street - we recommend staying as close as possible. Most of the things to do are within walking distance of this area.

The Funk Zone

Santa Barbara's Funk Zone is an area filled with converted warehouses and buildings decorated with graffiti murals where you can find wine tasting rooms, cafes, galleries, shops, and breweries. We find ourselves spending the majority of our time here in this ever-evolving SB neighborhood.

O'Malleys Bar

A true dive bar. This is where the love story all began. Don't wear your favorite shoes here as they are guaranteed to be stuck to the floor at some point. Is that old beer? Gum? Bodily fluids? Who knows. It's defintely a shithole but it's our shithole.
