We're so excited to celebrate our love with you!

We both swiped right on Bumble- a modern day fairytale! Ali kept asking Kyle to meet for drinks and after she bugged him long enough (LOL), he agreed. We had our first date at Maynards and the rest is history! We will never forget the tree that dripped sap on us the entire time, or the shawl Ali was wearing (that I loved!) that Kyle later said he thought looked like an old blanket. We laughed the entire night and we look forward to laughing together the rest of our lives!

The morning of our proposal we closed on our new home! The whole day was long, hot, tiring and stressful to say the least! At the end of the night, we decided to have a fire in our new firepit (which is honestly one of the highlights of our house!). We popped open a bottle of champagne and sat down. We both aren't typically big talkers but as Kyle put it, "Ali wouldn't stop talking." When there was finally a lull in conversation, Kyle stood up and got down on one knee! The only thing I remember was him saying was, "Ali, it's been a hell of a day" then I think I blacked out because I was so nervous. He got to the part where he asked me to marry him and I of course said yes! Followed by me taking the ring out of the box and putting it on my own finger. Whoops! We hugged, we laughed, we took pictures. It was amazing! Before that, we were both so tired from the move. After all of the excitement and FaceTiming everyone we loved, we drank and danced around our basement for the rest of the night. The perfect engagement! Just the two of us, in our new home, in our comfies!
