What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire: suits, cocktail dresses, or anything in that celebratory zone. If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear a gown or tux, this might be it — but truly, wear what makes you feel great.

Will the wedding take place outside?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside followed by a tented reception. We can't wait for you to see the beautiful garden space, and comfortable / lawn-friendly footwear is recommended. Please note: the ceremony site is located at the bottom of a grassy hill and is accessed by a short walk that includes stone steps.

What airport should I fly into?

Philadelphia International Airport will be the best option to coordinate your travel for the weekend.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a room block at the Hampton Inn Philadelphia/Great Valley/Malvern (635 Lancaster Ave, Frazer, PA 19355) and will provide transportation to and from the wedding for guests staying at this hotel. See more information and the booking link on our Travel page!

Do I need to use the provided shuttle?

Answer

No, you're welcome to drive to and from the wedding or use a rideshare service. Please note that phone service at Welkinweir is limited, so arranging a ride home could be tricky. We encourage you to use the shuttle leaving Welkinweir between 10:00 and 10:30, returning to the Hampton Inn in Frazer, PA.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, Welkinweir has a parking lot which is a short distance from the main estate. It is walkable, but there will also be a small shuttle available to bring guests to and from the ceremony/reception area. Stay tuned for more transportation updates!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love all your little ones, but in the spirit of keeping things intimate, we are having just a few children from our families attend. We hope you can line up babysitters ASAP! :)
