He has been a steady support system for Jake throughout his life and will undoubtedly do so in the future

Kate is the older, protective sister who is willing to threaten to burn down a hospital if it means securing the safety of Ali, quite literally. Kate has always been a constant throughout Ali’s life. She has been a resource and aid to her family and loves her nieces and nephews as her own. Kate will ensure Ali will make it to the wedding safely and intact. After the wedding vows are exchanged, it will be the primary responsibility of Roxy, the family Bull Mastiff, and Jake to provide protection and security

Dylan, Ali's second born, is persistent, hardworking, and humorous. He’s both tender and tough, and likable to the core. Under Jake's guidance, leadership, and example, Dylan has chosen to pursue Jake's technical profession, licensed electrician. Through the pursuit of that profession, Jake and Dylan have developed a bond that is both close and undeniable. He demonstrates dedication, professionalism, and perseverance in almost anything that he pursues. Though he is bound inevitably for success, his gentle authenticity will always be his greatest attribute

Pamela is a true boss. Almost nothing of substance is accomplished throughout North Central Massachusetts without Pam’s approval. She has taken on a leadership and consigliere role and has guided Ali and Jake through difficult wedding decisions with wisdom, humor, and unwavering loyalty. Pam is also Ali’s longtime best friend — the person she talks to every single day — making her not only a trusted advisor, but an irreplaceable part of Ali’s life. It is in Pamela we trust to ensure the wedding plans remain orderly, on time, and fully under control.

Bryan is the bride’s brother, the groom’s newest best friend, and the unpaid ghostwriter behind every other wedding party bio you’ve read so far. If this one sounds slightly less polished, it’s because he didn’t edit it himself. Bryan leaves an impression everywhere he goes through his leadership, humor, and genuine personality. Smart, witty, and aggressively precise, he’s also so obsessively clean that visiting his house feels like touring a very organized museum. Known for his hilarious impressions and razor-sharp observations, Bryan can make anyone laugh within minutes, but underneath the humor is someone deeply loyal who has always been there for his sister, while also being a devoted uncle, friend, and now one of the groom’s favorite people too.

Sydney is Jake’s sister and someone who radiates positivity wherever she goes. Her presence is infectious, and she was basically destined to be the first guest on the dance floor at her brother’s wedding. Ali and Sydney became great friends almost faster than Ali and Jake became a couple, and their friendship has been full of nonstop laughs ever since.

Mikey is beloved by all. In all sincerity, if you don’t like Michael, you can get the h*ll out. His thirst for life is ferocious and admirable, and his presence simply doesn’t allow negativity. Jake and Mikey have been friends since Little League, and their friendship has only grown stronger through the years — from childhood memories to countless poker games and everything in between. Impressive on many levels, Mikey can best be described as a loyal friend, trusted colleague, and lifelong co-conspirator.

Bethany is creative, fun, and someone people are naturally drawn to because of her positive energy and genuine personality. At the same time, she carries herself with a maturity that commands respect. A longtime friend of Ali’s, Bethany was actually part of the story from the very beginning — when Ali and Bethany were on vacation shortly after Ali met Jake, Ali said she knew she was going to marry him, which meant Bethany would one day have to be in the wedding too. Now officially predispositioned as the Chief Enjoyment Officer, Bethany is charged with making the Ali and Jake Wedding Experience as exciting, fun, and memorable as possible.

He demonstrates leadership while ensuring a good time is had by all. Matt and Jake met through Bethany and Ali, and their friendship was instantly combustible, built on constant laughs, shared adventures, and the kind of effortless connection that only grew stronger with time

Through both the happiest moments and the toughest times, Mariah has always been there for Ali and the entire family with unwavering loyalty, love, and grace. No one is entirely sure how she manages to keep everyone calm — we’re all just very grateful that she does. She has a way of keeping everyone centered, stable, and reassured without ever making it look difficult, which becomes especially valuable during wedding planning chaos. Josh is sweet, kind, and sensitive. As the head of household, and oldest child he is given the privilege and distinction to walk his mother down the aisle. He is always willing to assist in anything you ask. Whether it’s cleaning the house, taking a leadership role in caring for Roxy, or entertaining Mason and Jack, Josh is both willing and able. He treats others the way you would like to be treated. If everyone approached life with the same kindness and integrity that Josh does, the world would be a better place.

Chip is enigmatic. Anyone that meets Chip inherently knows he’s a man of character and substance. Chip is one who is always willing to offer guidance and counsel, even when unsolicited. His wisdom, humor, and natural leadership make it easy to view him as a father figure; appropriately Betsy, Chips sister designated him and his wife Dolores as Ali's Godparents. Whether it be family, friends, or coworkers, Chip has been the backbone of the community, providing a steady example for all of us

Violet is older, even for her years. At a very young age, Violet’s maturity, mild nature, and care for her sister give insight to the woman she will grow to be. Gifted with a subtle glow, she can bring an immediate smile to anyone in her presence. Ruby has cheeks for days. Her quiet charm allows her to often become the most adored person in the room. She is both curious and cute. She appears to live life with consistency, always calm, and always happy.

Mason is Jake reincarnated. He possesses a perfect balance of mischief and joy. Just like his father, Mason always has a smile on his face and has a loveable, approachable demeanor. Mason loves being an older brother and his affection for Jack demonstrates his tenderness. Jack is our sweet little cheddar cutlet and he is One Fine Piglet. His presence is magnetic as all those around him feel the need to admire and chub his cheeks or thighs. He is also handsome, happy, and content. Though he is the youngest of the family, his qualities have great potential to be a successful combination.

Melissa is energetic and exciting. She adds a breath of positivity and vigor in all that she does. Coco is beloved by her grandchildren and shows genuine love and compassion when caring for them. Her authentic good nature allows all those around her to feel welcome and relaxed. Coincidentally, she also received the High School class superlative: most likely to be the first and last on the dancefloor and of her son’s wedding

Where do I begin? Steve is honest and direct. He’s a man that knows how to have a good time and enjoys the company of others. What truly defines Steven D. Wood is his loyalty and love for his family and friends. He’s caring, reliable and devoted. Pops has always been a source of support for those around him and continues to do so with his children and grandchildren.
