Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to wear formal attire for our celebration. The only colors we ask you to avoid are emerald and sage, as our bridesmaids will be wearing those shades. For those looking for inspiration, formal attire typically includes a suit and tie for men. For women, a long dress, gown, fun jumpsuit, or elegant cocktail dress would be perfect. Think classic and polished, but comfortable enough to dance the night away!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation includes a plus one, their name will be listed or it will mention “and guest.” Due to the limited capacity of the venue we cannot accommodate anyone who has not been specifically invited.

Are kids welcome?

For our wedding, we’re keeping the guest list to adults and teenage children who can fully enjoy the evening festivities. We hope this gives parents a chance to relax and enjoy a fun night out!

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held at Hotel Lafayette!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. We ask that you arrive at the ceremony location by 4:15pm at the absolute latest so that you have time to find a seat and enjoy the ceremony.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have some parking spots in the parking garage next to the venue reserved for our guests. Those will be first come first serve. There is also street parking available. If you're staying nearby, you might also consider using ride-share or the metro rail. Several hotels are also within walking distance — and those are noted the transportation tab.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When it is time to RSVP you will be able to alert us to any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
