During the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ian was finishing graduate school and completing an internship in Baltimore, where he subleased from my roommate at the time, Tara (major shoutout to Tara!). I was determined to show him all the best spots in Baltimore and introduce him to my family and friends—and he was crazy enough to say yes to every adventure. Just a few months later, Ian not only decided to extend his stay in Baltimore, but somehow this crazy kid decided to move across the country with me to San Diego for a few months...& the rest is history!
