We met at work back in 2017. Gregg had recently returned back to Wellsboro hospital full-time after working as a Life Flight paramedic for 9 years. When Gregg wasn't out on calls or transfers, he kept himself busy roaming around the other units of the hospital in his usual extroverted/ADD fashion. Before long, he was mostly just visiting the ICU, particularly when Ali was working. After countless dad jokes and multiple invites to hang out, Ali finally agreed to meet him out at the new hot spot in town that our friend Cam had just opened called The Roost (back when it was cool to go there- iykyk). When Ali arrived, Gregg was already there with his friend Mike. Ali thought "WTF I thought this was a date?" but she was also relieved that it made things more casual. Halfway through the night, Gregg asked "Do you wanna meet my puppy?" Ali said "Sure, when can I meet her?" he said "Now, she's out in my vehicle, let's go see her!" Being John Hallinan's daughter, Ali simply could not fathom the idea of someone who would leave their Jeep running with the heat and radio on this entire time in the middle of January all for a dog, but when she saw baby Halo cuddled up in her snowman blanket on her heated seat listening to her Classic Vinyl jams, she thought "If he treats his dog like this, I may be in good hands." Plus she really liked the idea of inheriting an adorable bonus puppy...and the rest was history:-)

We were on vacation in Rehoboth beach with Ali's whole fam. Everyone retired to their rooms for the night and so did we. It was just the two of us and Halo in our bedroom at the end of the night and Gregg came out of the closet (no, not that kind of closet) with a ring box and FINALLY proposed and here we are.
