What's the dress code for a Scottish wedding?

Answer

For the ladies, formal dresses of any length. Fascinators welcome, but not expected! For the lads, kilts or whatever 'suits'. Both a bow tie or tie are completely fine. Fascinators also welcome. Guests and Etiquette

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitation. We kindly ask that no additional guests or children attend. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We will have shuttles going to and from Carlowire Castle on the day of the wedding! They will stop at both the Dakota Hotel and Radisson Blu Hotel in the city centre making it convenient for everyone. Reference the "Travel" tab for additional shuttle details.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held within the Orangery of the castle (inside)!

The short answer is "This is Scotland. Four seasons in one day is entirely possible!".
