What's the dress code for a Scottish wedding?

Answer

For the ladies, formal dresses of any length. Fascinators welcome. For the lads, kilts or whatever 'suits'. Both a bow tie or tie are completely fine. Fascinators also welcome. Guests and Etiquette

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitation. We kindly ask that no additional guests or children attend. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

We will have shuttles going to and from the venue on the day! They will stop at both the Dakota Hotel and Radisson Blu Hotel in the city centre making it convenient for everyone.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held within the orangery of the castle, with the reception being held in the marquee (both inside!).

What's the weather like in Scotland in October?

The short answer is "This is Scotland. Four seasons in one day is entirely possible!".
