Train
Coming from NYC? You can take the train! Hop on the LIRR from Penn Station toward Ronkonkoma, then transfer to the Greenport line. From there, you can get off at Riverhead, Mattituck, Southold, or Greenport—depending on where you’re staying. Once you arrive, grab an Uber and you’ll be on your way to wherever your heart desires!
Flight
Coming from out of town? There are plenty of flights into both LaGuardia and JFK airports. From either airport, one option is to take an Uber to Jamaica Station and then hop on the LIRR to Riverhead, which is just a short drive from the hotels. If you’d rather skip the train, renting a car for the weekend is a great option. You can also take an Uber directly from the airport to the North Fork, which is about a two-hour drive. Another option is MacArthur Airport in Islip, which may have fewer flight options but is much closer to the North Fork. From the airport, you can take an Uber to the Ronkonkoma or Islip LIRR station and take the train east toward Greenport. The Hampton Jitney also offers service to Greenport, making MacArthur a convenient option for getting to the North Fork.
