We're getting married!

I love our story; that I have known Drew ever since I moved to Durant in the third grade; that I have pictures of him crossed out in my fourth grade yearbook from some age-old grudge I had as a ten year old; that we were friends in high school and shared heart to hearts about our teenage problems; and that we found our way to each other years after high school ended and fell in love in the same small town we met and both grew up in. I think we surprised everyone we knew just by getting together at all 😅 It is hard to believe we have been together five years already now. It will be six by the time we are married! The time has passed in the blink of an eye, but when I look back on it, I see how much the two of us have grown together already. It was Summer 2016 when we began. We had about a month together before I went back to school in the fall in Cedar Rapids for my Junior year. Then, on NYE, I left for a five-month-long study abroad in Thailand. I finished college a year later, and within a year of graduation, Drew and I bought our first home together. It's been two years since then of home sweet home - Drew, me, and our little pack of Mini Schnauzer babies: Gracie, Winston, Cora, & Chip. We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together and cannot wait to celebrate the start of it with you all!
