Ali first laid eyes on Dillon while she was at home in New Jersey watching Team USA play Team Canada in the 2014 World Lacrosse Championship game with her Dad. She couldn't believe the US was losing and was so irritated she actually got up off the couch to head to the kitchen when she heard her Dad say, "Who is this kid?" Ali came back into the living room just in time to watch the Canadian goalie stop one of Team USA's "best players" on a breakaway opportunity. She turned back to her Dad and said, "No idea. But what's with the sweatpants?" Fast forward to December of 2014 when Ali accepted a position working for the Colorado Mammoth in Denver, Colorado. She was asked to work at the Mammoth's media day, assisting in any task required to get the social media content needed to last throughout the season. She was assisting the camera man who was asking "This or That" type of questions and when stepped out for a break, he asked Ali to jump in to keep things moving. Little did she know she was about to ask the "sweatpants guy" if he would rather have been a member of the Backstreet Boys or N'SYNC...
It's no secret that lacrosse is a huge part of Dillon and Ali's life, both together and separately. He may be MVP of the World, but let's not forget who had the more successful collegiate career (GO U)... Dillon and Ali are both heavily involved in coaching youth lacrosse and together they coach the Denver Pride 2025 girls' team (their pride and joy). She roped Dillon in almost four years ago when the program started and he never looked back. While Dillon runs the offense and trains the goalies, Ali holds down the defense and together they've created a bunch of little beasts who are ranked #1 in their age division in Colorado. These lovebirds have had a banner year in 2022; Ali graduated with her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from DU, Dillon is now the Lacrosse Development Manager with the Mammoth, Ali has excelled in her new role at DISH and was named the Director of Denver Pride, and Dillon was crowned NLL Champion and MVP of the finals! The couple have traveled the world together adventuring to places such as Italy, France, and Israel. They've road-tripped to the Grand Canyon and enjoy the opportunity to visit family and friends back home whenever they have the chance. They can't wait for their next adventure in Thailand on their honeymoon right after the wedding! When Ali isn't losing her mind at Mammoth and Waterdog games watching Dillon play, they love to be home together in their happy place; on their beloved couch. Dillon and Ali spend their time taking walks, binging movies and shows, cooking together, and partaking in "Pizza Fridays". No matter what they're doing, Dillon and Ali genuinely love being together - constantly laughing, two peas in a pod.
