Seward is a dreamy coastal town about 3 hours from Wasilla. It has plenty to see just in town with shops, restaurants and the sea life center. However i would recommend grabbing a boat tour but one of the local companies like, The Kenai Fjiords Tours
Denali National Park and Preserve
Denali National Park speaks for herself. This about 5 hours from Wasilla or you could grab a ticket on the Alaska Railroad for a 6.5 hour journey.
